We connect powerful global economic and social forces to their impact on households and markets, sectors and regions across the UK and overseas. We deploy our convening power for policymakers, academics, the media, and other research institutes – from our Westminster base – to bring about better policy. We publish our National Institute Economic Review quarterly, alongside our UK and Global Economic Outlook. We track key economic indicators monthly (Wages, CPI, GDP), as well as COVID and Term Premia. Our research covers diverse themes from education, regional disparities, productivity, to macroeconomic modelling and climate change.
