Six defendants pleaded guilty in the Feeding Our Future fraud in Minnesota, days before the trial of former executive director Aimee Bock and Salim Said, the former co-owner of Safari Restaurant.

A Shakopee woman pleaded guilty Friday to her role in the Feeding Our Future case, which included misappropriating millions of dollars in federal nutrition program money during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Court documents state that Mohamed Muse Noor, a.k.a. "Deeq Darajo," pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Jama pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering Friday for his role in the “Feeding our Future” scheme that exploited $250 million of federal funding for a child nutrition program.

He was a prominent journalist in Minnesota's Somali community and owner of Xogmaal Media Group. Within this past week, multiple defendants in the Feeding our Future have entered guilty pleas. Abdulkadir Nur Salah was a co-owner of Safari Restaurant in Minneapolis along with co-defendant Salim Said.
