Martin jumped at the chance to offer a similar program in Lawrence. Mexican potter Noe Quezada, who will be in Lawrence for the Gallery Walk, created the Mata Ortiz-style pot at left.
The association turns 50 this year — and has put quite a show at the Taos Ceramics Center, open until November 16.
