Nike and the NBA have agreed on a 12-year contract extension that will keep the company as the league’s exclusive uniform and apparel provider, along with the WNBA and the G League, the company told The Athletic. The NBA and Nike finalized the deal this summer.

Nike will continue to design and manufacture NBA, WNBA and G League uniforms and on-court apparel through 2037.

Nike and the NBA struck a deal in 2015 that brought the sportswear brand in as the jersey sponsor for the NBA starting with the 2017-18 season. The eight-year deal was reported to be worth $1 billion. The upcoming NBA season, which begins Tuesday night, marks the last season under the original deal.
