Nike and the NBA have agreed on a 12-year contract extension that will keep the company as the league’s exclusive uniform and apparel provider, along with the WNBA and the G League, the company told The Athletic. The NBA and Nike finalized the deal this summer.

Nike will continue to design and manufacture NBA, WNBA and G League uniforms and on-court apparel through 2037.

The NBA and Women's NBA announced a 12-year contract extension with global partner Nike Inc. through 2037 to provide uniforms, apparel, merchandising, marketing and content for the leagues. Nike has been an NBA partner since 1992 and a marketing partner of the WNBA since its 1997 debut.

The extension comes at a critical time. The company earlier this month withdrew its full-year guidance and postponed its first investor day in seven years.
