One person has died and dozens have been sickened, many of them local, across nearly 20 states in an E. coli outbreak the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says is linked to organic bagged carrots.

Organic carrots and baby carrots sold across the United States are being recalled following an E. coli outbreak linked to Grimmway Farms products, which has resulted in one death and 15 hospitalizations.
