Skunk tests positive for rabies in Cleveland County
A skunk has tested positive for rabies in Cleveland County, bringing the county’s total confirmed rabies cases this year to four. The skunk was found on Clyde Street in Casar on Thursday, October 10.The Cleveland County Health Department said any person bitten or exposed to potentially infectious saliva from the skunk should call their healthcare provider or local health department for a rabies risk assessment.
