Anthony Rizzo had a sharp base hit in his first at-bat of the night in the Yankees' ALCS win over the Guardians on Monday night, but the veteran was taken out of the game in the late innings.

First baseman Anthony Rizzo is back on the Yankees' roster for the AL Championship Series against Cleveland, just over two weeks after fracturing a pair of fingers when hit by a pitch. Right-hander Marcus Stroman also was added Monday by the Yankees, who dropped first baseman Ben Rice and speedy outfielder Duke Ellis.
