Area schools compete at Bands of America in Indy
Several area high school marching bands competed Friday and Saturday, with some earning distinctions. Goshen Crimson Marching Band, Fairfield Marching Pride, Pride of Plymouth, Wawasee Marching Warrior Pride and The Pride of Elkhart all headed south Friday to compete in the Bands of America (BOA) Super Regional prelims at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Northwestern, Taylor and Western marching bands will compete at a Bands of America competition Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Howard County bands are among nearly 90 schools competing during the two-day event. Many of the schools are from Indiana and Ohio, though others are coming from Missouri, Oklahoma and Virginia.
