The low-cost carrier has recently signed an agreement with US-based engine MRO provider StandardAero, which will assist in the restoration of the airline’s grounded MAX fleet.
SpiceJet plans to return 10 grounded aircraft, including four Boeing B737 Max, to operations by mid-April, boosting its fleet to significantly increase its operations.
SpiceJet's initiative will significantly increase the current fleet size of 28 aircraft, even as some aircraft are redelivered to lessors during the same period.
